MEET OUR STAFF
The Diamond Line’s Masthead is composed of a group of talented and engaged undergraduate students currently attending the University of Arkansas. The following individuals have worked all semester to make Issue #3 possible.
BRIDGID O'KANE
Editor-in-Chief
Bridgid O’Kane is a senior English major from Arlington Heights, Illinois. She loves contemporary fiction with coming-of-age protagonists and strong world-building imagery. She is a huge Razorback fan and loves to call the hogs at any sporting event. Her favorite book is The Tale of Desperaux by Kate DiCamillo, and she always checks out Dickson Street Bookstore for their latest slush.
After graduation, Bridgid hopes to land a job at a credible book publishing company to continue doing what she loves (which is reading and editing fiction!)

HEATHER DROUSE
Managing Editor
Heather Drouse is the Managing Editor for The Diamond Line this semester. She is a sophomore English Creative Writing major, and she is from Detroit, Michigan. She enjoys reading fantasy and romance but when it comes down to the details, character-driven prose is her favorite thing to read and write. In the future, she hopes to work as an editor, wherever that may take her.
KARA HUTCHINSON
Prose Editor
Kara Hutchinson is a senior English Creative Writing major with a minor in Psychology from Little Rock, Arkansas. Her favorite genre to read is Young Adult/New Adult fantasy. She could talk for hours about anything Sarah J. Maas! A fun fact about Kara is that she is a member of the band program here at the University of Arkansas and served as a section leader for the Razorback Marching Band Color Guard this past fall!
AMELIA BUSHEK
Prose Team Member
Amelia Bushek is a junior English major from Kansas City, Missouri. Her favorite genre to read is fiction and creative non-fiction. When she is not reading for the Diamond Line, she is playing volleyball! She is actually the Vice President of the university’s club volleyball team.
DESTINY EBERHARD
Prose Team Member
Destiny Eberhard is a freshman English Creative Writing major. She spends her time writing poetry and reading any kind of fiction, though leans towards fantasy. In the future she would love to publish her own collection of poetry and be an editor for a publication company.
DANIKA SANDERS
Poetry/Drama Editor
Danika Sanders is a senior at the University of Arkansas studying English with a concentration in Creative Writing. She loves anything in magical realism, but she will read any writing she can get her hands on, be it literature or poetry! She also loves music and anything rock ‘n roll. She is from Ozark, Arkansas.
ERUBY RODRIGUEZ

Eruby Rodriguez is a new transfer student at the University of Arkansas. He is majoring in English Education. He loves reading contemporary/realistic fiction. Any piece that can create emotions and begin a conversation is a winner in his eyes. In my free time, he loves writing, graphic designing, and taking pictures.
BIA EDWARDS

Bia Edwards is a junior at the University of Arkansas where she majors in English with a focus in creative writing. She’s a fan of the weird and wonderful, enjoying stories that involve magical realism and dystopian aspects! Bia has two huskies and is a big fan of Facebook marketplace. Right now, she has no idea what she will do after graduation.

Courtney Demmitt is a senior from Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She is majoring in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and enjoys reading anything involving mystery. In her free time, she enjoys writing short stories and sharing them with her loved ones.

Kate Schlie is a junior Secondary English Education major from St. Louis, Missouri. Memoirs are her favorite passtime for reading (so creative non-fiction, hit her up!) A fun fact about her is that she a ran a marathon.

Meet Jada Fields! She is a junior and she is majoring in English Education (Secondary). She is from Fayetteville, Arkansas! Her favorite thing to read is Vanity Fair! She loves the unique artists and celebrities that get featured every month and their background stories. A fun fact about her is that she has broken her right foot three times in the same exact spot!
