Raised in the Ozarks, Stella works to recontextualize personal experiences through mythologizing them, providing pieces that feel both familiar and obfuscated. Their identity as a queer artist saturates their work, as they pull from a rich lexicon of imagery provided by other artists and Printmakers. Expecting to graduate Spring 2024, she is moving into her thesis year and beginning the process of applying for Grad programs, hoping to work at independent print shops or enter into a professorship role.
